Electronic Mechanic

Electronic equipments, devices and circuits are widely used in industrial process control, communication research, domestic, medical and other fields.

Electronics and communication is the branch of science and technology relating to the flow and control of electricity through semi conductors and other materials through vaccum. Electronics is one of the branches of technology, which embraces a broad field of scientific and industrial effort without clear boundaries. The application is concerned with design, manufacture, management and application of electron tubes and solid state components in various devices like radio, television, telephone, radar,
radio telescope and X-ray tubes.

During the two year programme a trainee learns about fundamental principles of electronics, telecommunication, construction details, working and repairing of electronic devices and circuits.

The electronics mechanic department of the institute possesses a well furnished class room, one well equipped laboratory, qualified and experienced instructors and technician.

The laboratory comprises of colour and B/w T.V. trainer, microprocessor kits using 8085 and 8086, CRO trainer, power supply (SMPS) trainers, digital multi meter trainer, signal generator, function generator, modulators, logic probes, stylus pressure gauge, pattern generator, temperature controlled soldering station, different meters, multi meters (digital and analog) etc.

After successful completion of the training a trainee may go for the further education like diploma etc. or may join public or private sectors.
